Еhe deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bekbolat Tleukhan and Darkhan Mynbay visited the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty within the framework of a working visit to the southern part of Kazakhstan today.
Mazhilismen were acquainted with the material and technical base, educational process and achievements of the educational institution.
After that, there was a meeting with the teaching staff and students of the school in the assembly hall, where the priority directions of the development of national education were discussed. As the deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Bekbolat Tleukhan, noted that, the future of the country is in not only the hands of educated, but also competitive youth. Thus, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools today make a great contribution to the education of a competitive, progressive, creative nation. Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed to conduct a major reform in the education system. The new model of education and the experience of NIS, where the program of trilingualism is successfully implemented, is being practiced in all rural schools. “You are the representatives of the future intellectual elite of the country,” noted Darkhan Mynbay -the member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan in his speech to students. According to the Mazhilisman, today all conditions are being created for the development of youth in Kazakhstan. The government has adopted quite a few government programs aimed at raising up gifted children, their self-realization and development. At the end of the meeting, the parliamentarians wished the team of the Intellectual School further fruitful work towards raising a healthy, intellectually developed nation.
They also wished the younger generation to use all the opportunities and make every effort so that the country entered the top 30 of the most developed countries in the world.
